Here’s their top 10:
Reminds me of the Howard Dean meltdown pics. Yeeeeeeahhhhh! This economy is a huge gift to the Lakers. Going to make it much easier to keep Lamar and Ariza. Everyone is trying to shed cap space for 2010, which helps as well. I’m thinking $8 million, 5 years for Lamar, $6 million, 4 years for Trevor. What do you think? Also, shouldn’t Kupchack get some more love for stealing Ariza and Gasol? For not panicking when 95% of the city plus his star player were outside his front door with torches and pitchforks? Bynum needs to realize that defense and rebounds are what he needs to focus on. He seems solely concerned with the offensive side of the court. I do love that he wasn’t a factor in these playoffs. If he had been, people would be holding it against Kobe, Lamar, and Pau. There is no fucking way I’d pay the max to Chris Bosh. Good number 2, but there is no way that guy is a franchise player. When will people realize that weakside shot blocking is vastly inferior to being able to hold your defensive position in the paint against your own man, or the point guard who has broken throught the first line of defense? Bosh is really good, but he needs to play with a Dwayne Wade or a LeBron, and even then, that team will need a banger who can hold his position in the paint. I’m not saying the guy is soft, he’s just too thin to be the defensive presence that would justify max money.

Figured I’d get a discussion about the NBA Offseason started with this gem. -kyrone hill
